Mike McGill is the Managing Partner of Carve Capital Partners. Prior to founding Carve, Mike was a Managing Director at TD Securities and Cowen & Company. In 2001, Mike co-founded MHT Partners, a Dallas-based investment bank, where he was a Managing Director and in 2020 led the sale of MHT Partners to Cowen. In his 30+ year career as an investment banker he also spent time with DLJ, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Lehman Brothers. Mike is an active member of the Telluride chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and in 2019 was named Investment Banker of the Year by D CEO Magazine. He earned an MBA, with distinction, from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Finance and Real Estate.

Mike is a recreationally competitive cyclist and avid (and formerly competitive) skier. His outdoor pursuits also include hiking, SUP, camping, climbing, golf, and almost anything else one can do outdoors.
